Sample Role Play With Your Character: Her heart pounded, the sound deafening to her sensitive ears. Her breath came in short bursts as she sprang forward, long legs racing through the forest, her pursuers hot on her heels. Run, run, just keep running and don’t look back. Amaya screamed at herself, choking back a sob. The stench of dog filled her nose as the Erasers drew closer. No! Please no! She cried, her mind reaching out for her brother for support, for comfort. Dinesh! Dinesh! she chanted his name in her mind as her feet pounded the forest floor.

Closer and closer her pursuers came, their snarls and growls filling the air. Closing in, they had her trapped, diverting her towards others waiting. Her foot caught on a root, causing her to tumble forward. ”No!” The scream burst from her lungs with a sob and she shot up right. In bed. Tears streaming down her face. ”Just a dream, just a dream.” she chanted to herself, wrapping her arms around her legs and setting her chin on her knees. Rocking back and forth, shaking in the aftermath of a nightmare.

Overall Appearance: Amaya is a tall and slender beauty with copper skin and large, expressive eyes. Darker bands of skin streak across her body, striping her arms and legs and framing her face in the markings of a tiger. Her eyes, an eerie emerald green, mark her as unique and unusual. Even though, for the most part, she appears to be human, Amaya is far from it, her feline DNA giving her grace to be envied by even the most accomplished dancer.

Clothing Style: Amaya isn’t one to care too much about how she looks, her idea of style is anything comfy, close at hand and flexible. She can be seen deck out in anything from sweats and a tank top to an over sized belted shirt and leggings, so long as she is covered and able to burst into action when needed.

General Personality:Though Amaya may seem quiet and shy, she is simply an observer, searching for weakness, flaws, anything that will give her a leg up in any given situation. She is smart and resourceful, a keen learner and a loyal friend. Her trust is hard to earn and easy to lose, just like her friendship.

However docile Amaya may appear, there is a dark side, one of built up hate and anger boiling just below the surface. This anger frightens Amaya, for it has the tendency of taking over.

One Good Memory:A random memory of Dinesh and her laying in the grass in a clearing, watching the clouds. Amaya had her head resting on Dinesh’s side, it was so peaceful and safe, it will always be her favorite memory.
One Bad Memory: The night they escaped from the School, it was so terrifying and uncertain, Amaya still wakes up from nightmares, sure that she is back at the school.
Brief History: Amaya and her brother Dinesh were born in northern India at the Indian branch of Itex, a project on different DNA ratios, the twins were the most successful. Spending their childhood in dog crates, they were released for exercise only when the white coats needed to run tests. At the age of ten, the twins were relocated to the Itex branch in New York, where the tests on the two grew more frequent, and more painful. After six years of what the twins considered torture, their salvation came in the form of six misfit bird kids who ransacked the lab and released all the experiments housed in the underground lab, including Amaya and Dinesh. Now the two are just looking for a place to settle down and call home.
