Hybrid Creation Contest

[Maximum Ride]

Fang and I have heard a lot of different ideas for new hybrids. Here's your chance to show off you creativity. Using the form provided, we want you to come up with an idea for a new hybrid. The contest will be closed Friday April 23 with winners announced that Sunday.

The Rules

1. One submission per MEMBER (so even if you have more than one account, you can only submit one entry)
2. Submissions must be unique, in that there can't be two submissions by two different members that are both hippo hybrids. If this does happen, then the second submission will be disqualified.
3. Be considerate of others, don't steal their ideas or criticize them
4. No more than three DNA contributions
5. Have fun!

Judging will be done by Fang and I, we will be looking for things such as creativity; playability; uniqueness and plausibility (i.e. could it actually be done; a cat x mouse hybrid may not work out well).

DNA Type 1: 80% Human (of course, could not blend in otherwise)

DNA Type 2: 18% Draconic ((it is mostly reptilian DNA crossed with Avian DNA resulting in a..truelly flying lizard))

DNA Type 3: 2% Canine strain, can never use to much loyalty(freaking scientists).

Powers: Because of the draconic DNA they would have slight pyrokentic abilites(control of fire), Flight from the combined, a rather long Prehensile tail again reptilian, stronger body)thier skin can almost take a bullet and not be peirced)

Appearance: The character would mostly likely come with, A. a long tail with differing types anything from a furred tip to a razor sharp barb covered weapon. they would also have Bat like leather wings instead of feathers, they are quieter and more effective at night stealth, most

ranging from 13(smallest) to 23 feet wide(largest), they fit snuggly into the back and can be covered with medium to large coats and/or jackets.
From a unforseen side effect of the Canine DNA, they will sometimes have Canine like ears inplace of normal human.

Extra: Due to thier DNA mixture they tend to have rather dangerous attitudes as they can litteraly start setting things on fire in bursts of great anger, loathing jealosy, or Burning Hate.

DNA Type 1: 80% Human
DNA Type 2: 20% Allosaurus
DNA Type 3: The Tertiary DNA contribution (optional)
Powers: Some may The Power to turn into a fully grown 39 feet tall Allosaurus. Others will have the power to turn into an Allosaurus human which means they would grow to at least eight feet tall with scales, teeth a long tail with long arms with claws on thier five fingers and claws on thier toes. In this form there musscles would be larger and they would be much stronger than they would be before, they would also have the head of an Allosaurus.

Super strength and speed in there normal form, as well as having enhanced senses. Can grow claws on their hands up to 6 inches long and finally has Dense bones which means they can take a good amount of damage before being taken down.

Appearance: The Allosaurus Hybrid would have scale like skin all over their bodies and often have spots or stripes of different colors in random places such as their backs. They would also have slight 'brow horns, meaning horn like formations over their eyebrows that grow almost to full length when angered. They would most likely have ether yellow or green eyes and have oddly long sharp fingernails.

Extra: Most Allosaurus hunt in packs so one could have a whole group of them on the site. You could do other Meat eating Dinos but no plant eaters.

DNA Type 1:(3%) Chamelen/Gecko(etc)
DNA Type 2: (5%)Avian
DNA Type 3: (92%)Human
Powers: Kind of like Fang in the books, can turn literally "unseeable" to a regular hybrid/person's eyes. They also have very thin skin. My friend Wilty came up with this next part- they have a bullet proof tongue for some reason. They also have wings with a lack of feathers, mostly an off-brown color.
They have a strength that higher than the regular Avian hybrid, and are very swift and fast. The lizard in them makes them a slightly cowardish species.
Appearance:
They have off-brown colored wings, and most of them have dark green eyes. They're very thin, and their skin looks like it was stretched over their body, very messily. It's a disturbing appearance. Their wings are very large, and sometimes feel sticky. Some have feather patterns on their skin. Most have a tail, that ranges from black to light grey.

DNA Type 1: Human [84%]
DNA Type 2: Mongoose [16%]
DNA Type 3: ---
Powers: They would be extrordinarily athletic, especially for agility type siuations. They would also have a higher intelligence and natural cunning and slyness. Their skin would be thicker and harder to pierce, and they would have the ability to consume any substance-- even poison without having harm befal them. Can emit a high pitched whine that can, in some cases, shatter ear drums.
Appearance: They would be primarilly human in appearence, with a few slight tweaks. Their hair would be naturally brindled, and would naturally grow facial hair from a young age. They'd have two sharp canines, much like a vampire. Mongoose hybrids would be naturally of thin and of a lean build. Some (not all) may have unnaturally small claws and, on rare occasions, have thick, tapering tails.
Extra: Mongooses are awesome.

DNA Type 3: avian[4%]
Powers: Mostly they would be able to manipulate fire. Their skin would be really tough. They can fly and can see well in the dark.Their begining part predator makes them very aggressive.
Appearance: Most of these hybrids will be mainly human like. Only their skin will be really scaly. Some of them can have a long tail. Their teeth are really sharp. They'll usually has tiny claws. Their wings are really long and they are usually greyish in color, their feathers looks more like scales though.
Extra: this is an awesome mix

DNA Type 1: 80% Wolf

DNA Type 2: 15% Bat

DNA Type 3: 5% Human

Powers: They have the ability of flight and echolocation, and with echolacation comes the power of telekenesis, the power of moving things with the mind.

Appearance: The hybird is mainly a large wolf, colors varying depending on the type of wolf. They have large, bat wings, the ears also large and bat-like. They're canines jut out from their jaws, and, with they're 5% Human, they have the ability to speak.

Extra: Anything that this form does not cover

I also think Gazzy's creation is very very similar to Whitewolf's.

DNA Type 2: 3% Butterfly
DNA Type 3: 2% Manatee (Aka, the Sea Cow)
Powers: Exceptional sight, able to feel the air, underwater breathing
Appearance: Two small Antennae that are hardly noticable , abnormally large eyes (but not too large), short, fuzzy hair (head hair) that never grows longer than an inch. Legs and arms grow light hair that can be shaved off. Sensitive skin. Slightly grey either in hair or skin-tone.
Extra: Does NOT have wings nor does it have fins

I'm sorry but Gazzy your creation has been disqualified as it is too similar to Mariel's creation. Both are reptile-avians.

As the canine DNA is not a part of Mariel's creation, it will not be disqualified as it is different enough.
