Clue hunched her shoulders a bit more. Inconspicuous, she told herself. Subtle. Be subtle. With a practiced, unnoticeable sweep of her eyes, Clue noted that there was not a single soul near her at the moment...or not a single soul she could see, at least. Her stance remained tense. This place was new, so she wasn't sure what kind of people roamed this area. Anyways, she probably shouldn't have been worried, because for the past hour she'd been wandering she hadn't run into a single person.
For some reason that worried her more.
The park was pretty quiet, with just a slight breeze and a crackle of leaves to cut through the silence. She shifted her wings and her coat rubbed the feathers uncomfortably. Her feet were starting to hurt. She really wasn't used to all this walking she was doing, and it made her much more tired than if she'd been flying. Fatigue was slowing her exploration of this town down, making her sluggish. She wished she could snap out her wings and fly instead.
After a minute she decided to sit down for a second to rest her throbbing feet, and she dropped ungracefully to the ground. Her legs stuck out in front of her, and she reclined back on her hands. Somehow, she managed to relax, but a squeak almost made her tumble backwards as she swept her hands forward into a more defensive position. Morse stuck his small, brown head out of her pocket. Big black eyes looked at her with confusion. He squeaked at her, You stop your walk? Why? Clue shrugged, gesturing at her feet.
