Species Modification: Avian: Straighted Caracara (10%), Human (90%)

Extra Powers: Instinctively determines the weather and can sense death but these are properties attributed to his bird heritage. Hunter’s most startling power is his ability to create (seemingly from thin air) anything he can imagine. This ability has a flaw, however, because Hunter cannot create anything unless someone describes the thing he’s trying to create with enough detail for him to mentally see the item.

Allegiance: To Silence, first and foremost, otherwise, he doesn’t yet trust anyone else.

Overall Appearance: Hunter tends to look rather rough and intimidating. He has no eyes, which would probably look disgusting if not for the fact that his empty eyes sockets are filled with dark, impenetrable shadows and that’s basically all anyone can ever see, twin pools of heavy darkness. Even so, this would probably attract far too much attention in the public eye, so when he’s out where people might see him, he usually wears dark sunglasses or a blindfold of some kind. There’s hardly ever a time when he is without some kind of minor injury (usually raw knuckles, dark bruises or cuts, or a black eye) because the area where they live tends to be a little rough so he gets in a lot of fights over keeping Silence and their home safe. His clothes are usually rather threadbare until he sits down and creates new ones. His wings mimic the Rook DNA from which he was created, mostly black with sliver of gold and silver throughout.

Clothing Style: Hunter isn’t very particular about clothes. What he has is either stolen or something he “Created” with Silence’s help. Usually he prefers a simple pair of dark, durable jeans and a plain wife-beater shirt.

Other: No tattoos, His face is covered with fine, pale scars, especially toward the eyes.

General Personality: Hunter has a very hard time trusting people outside his two person flock, mainly because, in his mind, anyone and everyone has the prominent potential to prove themselves an enemy. He’s rather protective of Silence, who is his life mate by both choice and because of their DNA. He tends to get in fights a lot but isn’t one to bear a grudge.

One Bad Memory: Seeing Silence go through the Trama Experiment

Brief History:

*Something to keep in mind* The Rooks were created differently than any other form of Avian combination. From birth to the age of sixteen, they were just normal people (They have no memories of their former lives however). Then they were captured at random off the streets and surgically combined with a mutated form of a Straighted Caracara (mutated only to be large enough for the wings to be capable of supporting a human). This took several months of continuous and extremely painful surgery to reconstruct the muscles and nerves necessary for flight. They were also given several infusions of Straighted Caracara DNA which had several mental effects, some useful and some hindering.

During their earlier years since their surgeries, both Rooks were kept under complete isolation of each other and all other experiments. It was only a few months prior to their escape that both were moved to the divided glass cage mentioned in Silence’s Bio, still isolated from other experiments.

The Rook Experiment: Basically, Hunter and Silence’s DNA came from a mating pair of Straighted Caracaras, also known as Rooks. The experiment was designed to see what precedence a former bird’s relationships might have on the resulting Avian. As it turned out, the preexisting relationship that the coupled birds had experienced did affect Hunter and Silence’s relationship, though not beyond their own will and choice.

The Trauma Experiment: Basically, they were kept under almost constant and often mortifying situations, just to see how well they could hold up and how long they could go with out cracking.

It was during this experiment that Hunter literally lost his eyes. After setting up the situation in a way that would make Silence feel as if the whole occurrence was her fault, a group of scientists pinned Hunter down, cut and burned out his eyes, and then slashed his face.

Extra Powers: Alright, this one's sort of hard to explain so bear with me. Everyone thinks Silence is mute but in actuality, she simply speaks at a frequency that is far too high and subtle for anyone or thing to catch. The frequency at which she speaks can have some pretty weird effects. With people or other hybrids, it starts out with a head ache that starts pretty much as soon as Silence starts "talking" to them and the more a given person hangs out around her the worse and more frequent these head aches get. Eventually the head aches subside, and after that point, whenever Silence "speaks" to the people she has effected they automatically know what she's saying without having to try and read her lips. Basically it's kind of like she subtly imprints what she's saying into their minds. She doesn't know much about this ability or even that she's doing it. Naturally this ability, once harnessed, could be used as a defense mechanism in which she immobilizes the people around her by causing them extreme pain with her silent screams (note: her screams have this effect anyway, even during the time in which she is unaware of her ability.

Clothing Style: Due to lack of funds, Silence only really has one outfit, which consists of tattered dark silver jeans, a black tank, and a sleeveless, full length, deep maroon coat. When this gets rundown and about ready to fall apart, she either steals new clothes or gets Hunter to create her some.

Other: has several scars, ranging from the size of a sliver to the length of a finger, on her arms, shoulders, and back from throwing herself through a large pane of glass. She also has several tattoos going up her forearms. Her right arm bears a tangled web of nightmarish images, most of them from her own experience and night terrors. Her left arm bore a jumble of sharp black lines of barbed wire, the proverbial cage of what her memories presented only in this image, the Rook flew free.

Bad Habits:
• Shuffles her wings when angered or irritated which obviously has the potential to risk exposure if she’s in a public place at the time.

General Personality: Silence is very understanding and patient, even in the worst of situations. She’s relatively quick witted, and a natural storyteller though she only gets to use this gift when describing things for her boyfriend, Hunter. Around new people, she can be rather shy and wary but once someone gains her trust, she’ll go out of her way for them. Silence’s main fault is her unyielding and sometimes unreasonable sense of guilt. She feels immensely bad for the pain her gift can cause others and there are other things, secrets, that she has to feel sorry for as well.
One thing that should be noted of both the Rooks is that their reactions and movements are eerily off the human norm, almost as if they’re merely mimicking human behavior. Also, when put in a situation intense enough to send them close to panic, their mental status becomes more animal like and disjointed and it becomes very difficult to return from this state without some help from someone they trust. Both of these things appear to be a side effect of their DNA levels and the way they were created.

Brief History:

Almost all of Silence’s (and Hunter’s) life at Chimera Co. was spent behind the transparent walls of a massive glass cage which was largely isolated from all the other experiments. Everything in it, from the floors to the walls and ceiling beyond their cage was stark white and almost constantly cleaned. Up until the end, Silence and Hunter had been kept apart but within clear view of each other through a thin glass wall that had separated the cage in equal halves.

Originally, Silence was created for the duo purpose of what was called The Rook Experiment and The Trauma Experiment (see Hunter’s Brief History) On a whim, however, her part in these experiments was shortly discontinued to allot her to a brief and largely unsuccessful trial that had been intended to create vast advances in human vocalization and communication. When this experiment appeared to fail, most of the other participants were terminated but because of her original purposes, Silence was simply returned to the studies she had been intended for.

Hey, just a few things, you need a sample rp for each character. Also, try to give Hunter's powers some limitations, you're starting to get into the realm of all powerful when he can create whatever he thinks of. They both need a quirk or two, like a tick, something they go without really thinking (for instance I always chew on my pens when I'm writing, but never noticed until it was pointed out by a friend lol).
