Alex sat up in bed gasping for air. Her heart raced and she felt light headed. Another nightmare? They were all the same; she was always running through the forest, trying to escape something...she wasn't really sure. Her pursuer, though she couldn't see their face, would catch her. She would always feel as if someone was clawing at her back. Which was weird, because she actually felt the pain, even though it was only a dream. Alex got out of bed, threw on jeans and a t-shirt, and went into her twin brother's room. "Eric?" she whispered. He had hated being woken up so early, but he had a soft spot for Alex. He rolled over in his sleep. "Eric, wake up. It's me, Alex." After a few groans, Eric looked up, brushing his medimum brown hair out of his face with his hand. "Oh, gosh, Lex. What's wrong with you? It's three in the morning. Leave me alone!" he threw his pillow playfully at his sister. "Eric, I...I had that dream again." Sighing, Eric looked up, his unearthly sky blue eyes squinting. "If they really wanted us so badly, Alex, then they wouldn't have waited three months. Come on, we're just two out of like, a hundred. They don't need us. Now go back to bed, okay?" Even though he was usually right, Eric was dead wrong now. Whenever Alex had these dreams, The Lab would send someone out to get them. Niether Alex nor Eric wanted to go back; they had escaped when they were younger, but, their dark past still haunted them. How long would it be before they were captured again? Months? Weeks? Alex sat at the foot of her brother's bed. "Eric..." she began. "Have you ever wondered who our real parents are? I mean, if we even have parents." Alex heard her voice break. This was a very sensitive topic for her. She closed her eyes, hoping that Eric wouldn't notice the tear coming down her left cheek. In a heartbeat, she felt Eric's muscular arms wrapping her in a loving embrace.

Allegiance: she hates Itex for what they did to her and her brother. She's against all people who are for Itex and other companies like that.

Alex tends to be very girly, wearing jewelry and dressing very nicely when she has time to kill. She is careful not to show her wings to people she doesn't completely trust and is self-concious.
She is pretty tall for her age and very thin. She has long, wavy, brown hair with natural, light brown highlights and unusual, wide, sky blue eyes. Her olive skin looks airbrushed, but it is natural. As her mood changes, her eyes can change color; normally they are sky blue, but if she is upset or angry, they turn darker (depending on how upset or angry she is, they could also turn black). Alex has harpy eagle dna, so her wings are dark gray with white spots towards the tips and all white underneath her wings. She has a 16ft wingspan.
Clothing Style: As I said before, Alex is girly, so she wears sundresses, jeans with preppy tops, ect. When she can afford it, she likes to buy designer clothes and likes shopping in general. She hates the color brown and only wears gray when it is paired with black, gold, white, or silver.

Brief History: She doesn't remember much about her past, or, maybe she blocked it out. She can only remember back to when six bird-kids like her escaped from Itex a few years ago. After this, she and Eric made it their goal to escape together someday, and that day came closer than they had expected. For the past year, she and Eric have lived in various foster homes. Recently, they have gone to a family who understands what has happened to them, and they live there now.
